WHEELS:RIMEQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION: AFTERMARKET ALUMINUM LIGHT TRUCK WHEELS, 16"X6", USED WITH DUAL REAR WHEEL AXLE APPLICATIONS. FATIGUE CRACKS CAN OCCUR AT MULTIPLE LOCATIONS IN THE OUTBOARD BEAR SEAT AREA, ALLOWING AIR TO SLOWLY LEAK OUT OF THE TIRE. IF THE USER IGNORES THE PROBLEM, THE CRACKS CAN CONTINUE AROUND THE CIRCUMFERENCE OF THE WHEEL, CAUSING THE FACE OF THE WHEEL TO SEPARATE FROM THE REMAINING PART OF THE WHEEL.

Overview
Our database holds 1 NHTSA owner-reported complaint filed against Alcoa vehicles. Our database also holds 1 safety recall campaign covering at least one Alcoa model year.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.
Alcoa models
Ordered by total owner-reported complaint volume, which is not a ranking of quality
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers. Complaint totals count a report once for each model year it names; recall totals count a campaign once per model.

Recalls apply to specific vehicles, not to every vehicle of a model year. Check your VIN with NHTSA or your manufacturer's dealer to confirm whether a recall affects your vehicle.
