The defect: Alexander Dennis, Inc. (Alexander Dennis) is recalling certain 2017-2020 E500 buses. The sealing washer may not seat correctly in the pilot bore holes, allowing the high pressure fuel rail assembly to leak.
The risk: A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.
The remedy: Dealers will inspect the rail threads and fuel lines, and replace the rail as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 18, 2021. Owners may contact Alexander Dennis customer service at 1-951-244-9429.

The purpose of this Service Bulletin is to inform Customers of the availability of Service List SL3308 which has been released and can be used on Enviro 500 and Enviro 400 should the lower linkage pin is missing or found to be loose, or if you are changing the ARB bushes.
