The defect: THE SUPPLEMENTAL INFLATABLE RESTRAINT CAUTION LABEL WAS NOT PLACED ON THE DRIVER'S SUN VISOR. THIS DOES NOT MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF FMVSS NO. 208, "OCCUPANT CRASH PROTECTION."
The risk: CONSEQUENCE OF NON-COMPLIANCE: OPERATORS COULD FAIL TO NOTICE AND HEED THE WARNING.
The remedy: DEALERS WILL INSTALL A WARNING LABEL ON THE DRIVER'S SUN VISOR.
