2007 Alfa See Ya Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

LAST YEAR COULD SMELL SOMETHING "HOT" BY THE ELECTRICAL PANELS. UPON CHECKING THE IOTA ITS-50R 50 AMP TRANSFER SWITCH WAS WARM. I CHECKED THE TERMINALS AND FOUND 2 LOOSE ONES. I DID NOT THING MUCH ABOUT IT UNTIL NOW I SEE THERE HAS BE RECALLS ON SEVERAL RV'S USING THE SAME SWITCH. MY ORIGINAL MFG, ALFA LEISURE, HAS GONE OUT OF BUSINESS, HOWEVER, ON THE ALFA OWNERS WEB FORUM, SEVERAL OTHER ALFA OWNERS HAVE HAD TO REPLACE THEIR SWITCHES BECAUSE OF HOT OR MELTED SITUATIONS. HOW DO WE SEE IF WE CAN HAVE A RECALL INSPECTION ALSO? REF CAMPAIGN 12V060000 AND FOREST RIVER IS RECALLING 850 UNITS. *TR
