TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 ALUMA TANDEM (NA) TRAILER BEING PULLED BY A 2003 COUNTRY COACH MAGNUM MOTOR HOME. WHILE TRAVELING AT ANY SPEED, THE TRAILER SWAYED IN AN UNSTABLE MANNER. WHILE TRAVELING APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH, THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE TIRE AND THE SPARE TIRE RACK FRACTURED. THE WELDING WAS COMPLETELY DETACHED, WHICH CAUSED THE SPARE TIRE RACK TO DETACH. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO PULL THE VEHICLE OVER AND TIED THE SPARE TIRE RACK ON THE FRAME AS AN INTERIM REPAIR. THE CONTACT ALSO CHANGED THE TIRE ON THE TRAILER. THE TRAILER ALSO CAUSED AN ELECTRICAL SHORT WHILE OPERATING THE MOTOR HOME. THE TRAILER WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT MADE SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO REACH THE DEALER, BUT WAS UNSUCCESSFUL. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE ON THE TRAILER WAS 700.
