The defect: INSUFFICIENT GROUNDING OF THE ELECTRICAL PUMP ASSEMBLY.
The risk: THIS CONDITION CAN CAUSE SLOW OPERATION OF THE HOIST; POSSIBLE OVERLOAD OF THE VEHICLE'S ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, AND\OR CAUSE AN ELECTRICAL SHORT IN THE POWER SUPPLY.
The remedy: DEALERS WILL INSTALL A 4 GAUGE GROUND WIRE BETWEEN THE PUMP HOUSING ASSEMBLY AND THE NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL.

Wallace Forge, the supplier of our 20,000 lb. Adjustable Cast Coupler, sent us a notice of recall as required by the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act. The recall concerns the internal ocking mechanism not meeting the correct specifications resulting in "excessive play" and, in extreme conditions, could cause the trailer to become uncoupled from the tow vehicle.
