DT: MOTORCYCLE'S HANDLE BARS CRACKED TWICE, ALSO, GAS TANK CRACKED TWICE, THE REAR SUSPENSION BROKE TWICE. THE LAST TIME THE MOTORCYCLE CAUGHT ON FIRE. THIS HAS HAPPENED WITHOUT WARNING. TAKEN TO DEALER, AND THEY FIXED IT, BUT IT RECURRED. MANUFACTURER WILL NOT GIVE CALLER WRITTEN INFORMATION ON THE PROBLEMS. THEY WILL NOT RETURN HIS CALLS. CALLER HAS OWNED TWO OF THESE MOTORCYCLES AND THE PROBLEMS HAVE HAPPENED TO BOTH OF THEM. THE FIRST ONE HAD SO MANY PROBLEMS THAT HE RETURNED IT AN GOT A NEW ONE THAT HAD PROBLEMS OF ITS OWN. HAD OTHER MINOR PROBLEMS WITH THE MOTORCYCLES. RECEIVED RECALL ON BRAKES, AND WAS STILL HAVING TROUBLE. WHEN HE TOOK IT TO THE MANUFACTURER WITH ODOMETER PROBLEMS THEY GAVE HIM A NEW ODOMETER, AND IT STARTED AT 00, NOT THE MILES HE HAD ON MOTORCYCLE.*AK

Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers. Older model years have had longer for reports to accumulate.
