2007 Aprilia Tuono Rsv 1000 Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

WHILE RIDING MY NEW MOTORCYCLE I COULD NOT STOP AT A STOP SIGN USING MY REAR BRAKE- I HAD A "SOFT" BRAKE. EVEN DEPRESSING THE REAR BRAKE PEDAL TO IT'S FULLEST THERE WAS NO BRAKING AT ALL. MY DEALER REPAIRED THE CONDITION BY CHANGING THE MASTER CYLINDER AND BRAKE FLUID AND ALSO FOLLOWING THE FACTORY BULLETIN ON BLEEDING THE REAR BRAKES CORRECTLY. AFTER THREE MORE RIDES AGAIN THE REAR BRAKE FAILED TO WORK - THIS TIME AT FREEWAY SPEEDS ! IN READING THE ON-LINE FORUMS AND TALKING TO OTHER OWNERS OF THE SAME MODEL IT SEEMS TO BE AN ISSUE. *TR
