2013 BMW 335IS Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

"TAKATA RECALL. TOOK BMW TO BMW DEALER ON MALLORY ROAD IN NASHVILLE TN ON NOV. 3 TO HAVE AIRBAG REPLACED AT 10:00, MY APPOINTMENT TIME. VEHICLE WAS RETURNED TO ME ABOUT ONE HOUR LATER. BMW REFUSED TO GIVE ME ANY PAPERWORK RELATED TO THE MY VISIT. THIS SUGGEST THEY DID NOT CHANGE THE BAG. PLEASE TELL BMW TO PROVIDE ME WITH THE COMPLETED WORK ORDER SO I HAVE PROOF THE BAG WAS REPLACED

BMW IS MAIL ATTACHMENTS. **CUSTOMER GOODWILL DIAGNOSIS COURTESY OF DCH MIDLAND DIAGNOSIS APPROVED BY BMW TSE** NO REPAIR PERFORMED AS PER CUSTOMER NECESSARY REPAIRS NOT COVERED UNDER BMW WARRANTY AS VEHICLE WAS OVER REVVED... CAR IS BRAND NEW 2013 WITH 5,140 MILES 335IS. I HAVE BEEN WORKING THIS ONE AROUND IN MY HEAD AND I CAN'T SEEM TO COME UP WITH ANYTHING... CRANK BOLTS JUST DON'T LOOSEN BY THEMSELVES AND EVEN STILL, THE COMPUTER RECORDED AN OVER-REV EVENT WHICH YOU CAN'T JUST "DO". YOU HAVE TO MECHANICALLY FORCE AN OVER-REV, AND EVEN TILL, THE DME RECORDS TIME SINCE THE EVENT HAPPENED, SO IF IT HAPPENED MONTHS AGO, IT SHOULD BE RECORDED THAT WAY (IF IT EVEN RECORDS THAT FAR BACK). *TR
