The defect: BMW of North America, LLC (BMW) is recalling certain 2022 CE 04 motorcycles. The horn may be insufficiently attached, allowing it to loosen or partially detach from the motorcycle frame.
The risk: A loose or partially detached horn can interfere with motorcycle steering and increase the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Dealers will remove and reinstall the horn, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 4, 2022. Owners may contact BMW customer service at 1-800-525-7417.

Due to an internal time offset in the communication of the control units fault entry “0X480688 ABS: Vehicleencoding faulty (ABS: Vehicle encoding faulty)”. May appear after programming the ABS. The fault memory cannot be deleted even after resetting the variant and or setting the variant again has been carried out without success.
