After quality inspection BMW Motorrad has found that the front panel carrier bolting was not tightened properly during installation at the factory. As a result, there may be a rattling noise or vibration in the cockpitarea over time.

Customer hears noise coming from the drive train, due to the chain knocking against the slide rail. The acoustics are transferred through the swingarm and amplified. Endurance testing was performed and found that the knocking of the chain against the rail over time has no effect on the life of the chain or rail.
