Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

In a sunny Sunday , S1000RR BlackStorm, 3207 miles. Riding I stop a in a awesome spot for pictures but when I turn off the key, the starter activates, I turned on the key and bike turned on automatically, I press the kill switch , the starter activates again. I press the starter and bike turn on. I continue to home 26 km from the place of situation. When I arraigo home I turned off the switch and bike turned off. Now bike won’t start. Full of gas, Battery full, fuse of 40 starter healthy, when I press the starter red button, I hear a click near the left side , near starter, but won’t start. No messages in the panel. The safety issue is that pressing the kill switch, moto remains starting activate, I was so scared, since in any gas spill pressing the kill switch to turn off it starter activate is a very dangerous situation. :(
