The defect: Bontrager Outdoors (Bontrager) is recalling certain 2025 Skinny Guy Campers Armor 7LT and Bontrager Outdoors 7ROD trailers. The carbon monoxide detectors may not have been installed.
The risk: Occupants will not be alerted to elevated levels of carbon monoxide, increasing the risk of injury.
The remedy: Dealers will install carbon monoxide detectors, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 8, 2025. Owners may contact Bontrager's customer service at 1-260-768-7932.

Manufacturer communication
Manufacturers file copies of the bulletins they send to dealers with NHTSA. These often describe diagnostic or repair procedures for a known condition. They are not recalls: repairs described in a bulletin are usually only free if the vehicle is still under warranty or the manufacturer has extended coverage.
