2003 Carriage Cameo Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

THE VEHICLE IS A CAMEO LXI RECREATIONAL TRAVEL TRAILER, WHICH MAY NOT FALL IN YOUR JURISDICTION. I UNDERSTAND, AFTER SOME RESEARCH, THAT THE KY LEMON LAW APPLIES TO AUTOMOBILES ONLY. I WOULD APPRECIATE IF THERE WERE SOME APPLICABLE LAW THAT WOULD ALLOW ME RECOURSE WITHOUT HAVING TO FILE SUIT. THIS IS A BRAND NEW 2003 TRAILER, AND THE PROBLEMS STARTED FROM THE BEGINNING. THE DEALER WAS INFORMED IMMEDIATELY OF THE PROBLEMS, AND THE MANUFACTURER WAS INFORMED IMMEDIATELY ALSO. THE RUN-A-ROUND HAS BEEN INCREDIBLE TO SAY THE LEAST. WE HAVE RECEIVED HELP FROM A DEALER THAT DID NOT SALE US THE TRAILER, BUT DID SOME WARRANTY WORK, SO THERE ARE HONEST PEOPLE OUT THERE WHO HONOR THEIR CALLING AND WORKMANSHIP. IF HELP IS AVAILABLE, I WOULD APPRECIATE IT.

Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
