1995 Chrysler Eagle Problems
Owner-reported complaints filed with NHTSA, grouped by component
Data refreshed
What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 1995 Chrysler Eagle, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 1995 CHRYSLER EAGLE. WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH, THE CONTROL ARM FAILED AND THE VEHICLE SWAYED TO THE RIGHT. THE VEHICLE LOST STEERING ABILITY AND THE TIRE WAS TURNED TO THE SIDE, AND WOULD NOT GO FORWARD. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A MECHANIC AND THEY STATED THAT THE CONTROL ARM FAILED. AS A RESULT, THE FAILURE CAUSED THE DRIVESHAFT, STRUT, AND SEVERAL PARTS RELATING TO THE CONTROL ARM TO FAIL AS WELL. NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 00V421002 (SUSPENSION:FRONT:CONTROL ARM:LOWER BALL JOINT) WAS REFERENCED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE PARTS, OTHER THAN WHAT WAS INCLUDED IN THE SAFETY RECALL, NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED FIRST. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 115,000.
