1995 Chrysler Lebaron Interior & seats Problems

Owner-reported complaints naming the interior system, filed with NHTSA

Data refreshed

Interior & seats reportsComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

THE LOCKING MECHANISM HAS FAILED ON BOTH FRONT SEATS. SEAT FLINGS FORWARD WHEN AUTO SLOWS THROWING THE PASSENGERS INTO THE WINDSHIELD. WARRANTY REPAIR WAS A JOKE AND WAS NOT COVERED ACCORDING TO DEALERSHIP. CHECKED CHRYSLER HOMEPAGE, BUT CANNOT NOT FIND OTHER FAILURES OR RECALLS. IF I HAVE A WRECK, I WILL BE A FATALITY. LOOKED FOR DUPLICATE SEATS IN WRECKED CAR, BUT CANNOT FIND. SEEMS STRANGE THAT BOTH SEATS WOULD FAIL AND NO ONE ELSE HAS REPORTED TROUBLE OR THERE WAS NO RECALL. *AK
