The contact owns a 2026 Forest River Coachmen Adrenaline. The contact stated that while using the generator to activate the A/C system, the carbon monoxide detector alarm alerted the contact's brother of possible carbon monoxide in the RV. The contact's brother attempted to wake the contact, but he was disoriented and did not wake up immediately. The contact and his brother safely exited the RV, but medical attention was not received. The RV was taken to the dealer, who determined that the generator exhaust system had failed. The contact was informed that the RV would be towed to a muffler repair shop for the exhaust system to be rerouted with a factory-modified exhaust system; however, the RV was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 500.
