2007 Coachmen Capri Micro Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

SUBJECT:MILESTAR TIRES ON COACHMEN TRAVEL TRAILER COMMENTS: I PURCHASED A NEW 2007 32' COACHMEN TRAVEL TRAILER IN MAY 2007 WITH MILESTAR 15" LOAD RANGE 'D' TIRES ON IT. I DROVE THE TRAILER FROM MICHIGAN TO GLACIER NATIONAL PARK IN JULY 2007, AFTER 1700 MILES THE TIRES WHERE WORN BALD. I REPLACED THE TIRES WITH GOODYEAR RADIAL TIRES AND DROVE TO YELLOWSTONE AND HOME ANOTHER 3000 MILES AND THE GOODYEAR TIRES WORN FINE. THE TRAILER WEIGHTS 8500LBS. COACHMEN PAID BE BACK THE $600 FOR THE TIRES, BUT I THINK THEY SHOULD STOP PUTTING THESE TIRES ON THESE TRAILERS. THE OUTCOME COULD HAVE BEEN A LOT DIFFERENT, IF I DID NOT NOTICE THEM WEARING OUT. I HAD 65PSI IN THEM, THE TIRES ARE MADE IN CHINA. I HOPE YOU CAN WARN PEOPLE ABOUT THESE TIRES. I HAVE PICTURES IF YOU NEED THEM. THANKS .*JB

Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
