What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 2001 Coachmen Catalina, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 COACHMEN CATALINA EQUIPPED WITH A DOMETIC RM2652. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE REFRIGERATOR WAS INCLUDED IN THE RECALL ASSOCIATED WITH NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 08E032000 (EQUIPMENT). AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WAS NOTIFIED, AND INFORMED THE CONTACT OF THE REPAIR PROCEDURES. THE CONTACT DECLINED TO HAVE THE REFRIGERATOR REPAIRED BECAUSE SHE BELIEVED THE REPAIRS WERE INSUFFICIENT. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE REPAIRS WOULD NOT PREVENT THE FAILURE FROM OCCURRING, BUT ONLY CONTAIN THE POSSIBLE FIRE DAMAGE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE SITUATION, BUT OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
