TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 1999 (NA) COACHMEN FUTURA LITE TRAILER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WERE ELECTRICAL FAILURES WITH THE VEHICLE AND AN INTERNAL FAILURE WITH THE REFRIGERATOR. THE CONTACT WAS NOT NOTIFIED BY THE MANUFACTURER CONCERNING NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 06V430000 (EQUIPMENT) AND NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 98V240002 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DOMETIC, TWO-DOOR REFRIGERATOR (MODEL NUMBER: RN2652, SERIAL NUMBER: 81000554) SWITCH FUNCTION FAILED TO CHANGE TO ELECTRIC SEVERAL TIMES. THE SWITCH WAS ABLE TO SWITCH FROM AUTO TO GAS. THERE WAS NO OVERRIDE OPTION TO SWITCH TO ELECTRICAL. THE CONTACT WAS CONCERNED OF A POTENTIAL FIRE PERTAINING TO THE REFRIGERATOR. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING OR REPAIRS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED TO DETERMINE IF THE RECREATIONAL VEHICLE WOULD BE DIAGNOSED BY A DEALER AND IF IT WAS INCLUDED IN ANY RECALLS. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THERE WAS NO MILEAGE.
