THE RELEASE LATCH ON THE CAR SEAT GOING TO THE BASE WILL NOT DETACH WITHOUT A FIGHT. I HAVE PROBLEMS EVERY TIME. IT'S SO BAD, ITS EASIER TO TAKE THE CHILD OUT OF THE CAR SEAT AND LEAVE THE CAR SEAT IN THE CAR. THERE'S TIMES ITS TAKEN 15+ MINUTES TO GET THE CAR SEAT TO DETACH FROM THE BASE.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A COSCO GB1A31C-021 AXE SAFETY SEAT, MANUFACTURED ON MAY 18, 2011. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SAFETY SEAT WAS REAR FACING AND WAS ABLE TO UNLOCK THE HARNESS STRAP. THE CHILD WAS IN THE SAFETY SEAT AT THE TIME OF THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE PURCHASE DATE WAS UNKNOWN.
