The defect: THE PRIMARY SIDE BRAKE CUP WITHIN THE MASTER CYLINDER MAY FAIL CAUSING LOSS OF BRAKE FLUID LINE PRESSURE IN ONE-HALF OF THE DUAL BRAKING SYSTEM.
The risk: THIS WOULD CAUSE REDUCED BRAKING EFFECTIVENESS ANDINCREASED STOPPING DISTANCES THAT COULD RESULT IN AN ACCIDENT.
The remedy: REPLACE MASTER CYLINDER.
