1991 Dodge B250 Problems

Owner-reported complaints filed with NHTSA, grouped by component

Data refreshed

Owner complaintsComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

What this page shows

Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 1991 Dodge B250, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.

Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

STEERING FAILURE AFTER ACCIDENT! 1991 DODGE B250 AMERICAN LIBERTY CONVERSION VAN 5.2L (318 V-8) CRUISE CONTROL, TILT WHEEL, AIR, POWER WINDOWS, LOCKS, AUTOMATIC WITH OVER DRIVE. AFTER I WAS IN AN ACCIDENT I TURNED OFF THE MOTOR TO SEE HOW BAD THE DAMAGE WAS TO MY VAN AND THE OTHER CAR. AFTER THE POLICE ARRIVED ON SCENE WE WANTED TO MOVE THE CARS. WITHOUT POWER STEERING OR THE MOTOR RUNNING WE TURNED THE WHEEL ONLY TO HAVE IT SNAP! I DON'T KNOW IF IT WAS FAULTY OR NOT BUT ALL I COULD THINK AFTER THE ACCIDENT WAS WHAT IF IT HAD HAPPENED WHILE DRIVING 70MPH DOWN I-75! THE ODOMETER IS STUCK AT 59,778 MILES IT HAS BEEN THAT WAY SINCE I BOUGHT THE VAN. *TR
