TRUCK DIED IN DOWNTOWN DENVER. NO BUS"ON DIGITAL ODOMETER. TOOK TO DEALERSHIP FOR WIRE HARNESS CONNECTOR REPLACEMENT, BUT IT WAS STILL FAILING. *AK
NO HOT AIR BLOWING FROM HEATER. I TOOK IT TO TWO REPAIR FACILITYS AND BOTH CONFIRMED THAT THE HEATER CORE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE ONLY HAS 68K MILES AND IT APPEARS THIS IS A CHRONIC PROBLEM WITH DAKOTAS, ALTHOUGH THE DEALER WILL NOT ACKNOWLEDGE THE PROBLEM. IT IS NOT EASY TO REPLACE THE HEATER CORE AND TYPICAL COST RUN FROM $600-$1000. *AK
EXCESSIVE ENGINE KNOCK.PPER BALL JOINT FAILURE.NADEQUATE HEADLIGHT PROJECTION ON LOW BEAM. *AK
CONSUMER STATED WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY, THE POWER STEERING FAILED, WHICH ALMOST CAUSED AN ACCIDENT . AFTER THE POWER STEERING MALFUNCTIONED, THE VEHICLE WAS HARD TO STEER. ALSO, THE CONSUMER FOUND OUT THAT GEAR BOX HAD A HOLE IN IT. THERE WAS A 2 INCH PIECE OF A BOLT THAT WAS KNOCKED OUT WITH FORCED PRESSURE. THE DEALER DID NOT WANT TO HELP THE CONSUMER.*AK THE STEERING BOX LEAKED AND CONTAINED EXCESSIVE PLAY. THE ROTORS AND WINDSHIELD WIPES NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. *JB *NM
CONSUMER STATES THAT THE MIRRORS ON VEHICLE HAVE A MAJOR BLIND SPOT. *NLM
HAS A BLIND SPOT ON THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE VEHICLE THAT CAUSED A VEHICLE CRASH.*AK THERE IS ALSO A BLIND SPOT ON THE DRIVERS SIDE. THE MIRRORS ARE TOO LARGE AND CAUSE A BLIND SPOT. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME AN ACCIDENT HAS OCCURED DUE TO THIS BLIND SPOT. *JG
PULLING OUT OF A PARKING SPACE AT 10-15 MPH WHILE RAINING WINDOWS FOGGED UP, CAUSING POOR VISIBILITY. CONSUMER WAS MAKING A TURN AND HIT A POLE, AND AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. PLEASE PROVIDE FURTHER INFORMATION. *AK
DESIGN OF EXTERIOR REAR VIEW MIRRORS ARE TOO LARGE CAUSING THEM TO BLOCK DRIVERS VIEW.
