MERCEDES SENDS OUT MATERIALS WHICH STATE ,"REMEDY PARTS ARE NOW AVAILABLE", THE OWNER NOW CALLS HIS DEALER FOR REMEDY AND ALL DEALERS NOW STATE PARTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE. DEALER CALLS MERCEDES AND MERCEDES SUPPOSEDLY TELLS DEALER THERE ARE NO PARTS.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 DODGE SPRINTER 2500. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V077000 (AIR BAGS); HOWEVER, THE PART TO DO THE REPAIR WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. VIN TOOL CONFIRMS PARTS NOT AVAILABLE.
