The defect: Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Crossroads Redwood, Dutchmen Voltage, and Yukon trailers. The U-bolts on the axles may have been improperly tightened, causing the bolts to loosen and the axle to slide.
The risk: A sliding axle can result in a loss of vehicle handling and control, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Dealers will tighten the axle spring U-bolts, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 27, 2022. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone's number for this recall is 22-436. This recall expands NHTSA recall number 21V-015.

The defect: Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain 2020-2021 Dutchmen Yukon 399ML, 400RL and 410RD recreational trailers. The bedroom egress window has a black round knob installed rather than a narrow crank handle.
The risk: Without the narrow crank handle, the emergency exit may be difficult to open, impeding the ability to open the window and resulting in an increased risk of injury in the event of an emergency.
The remedy: Keystone will notify owners, and dealers will remove the existing black round knob and replace it with a narrow crank handle, free of charge. The recall began October 7, 2020. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone's number for this recall is 20-386.

STRUCTURE

This is an email sent to dealers for advisory 21-396. It has been determined certain Voltage-Yukon trailers may have defective self-leveling roof sealant that exhibits a hard, cracked appearance. The defective sealant exhibits poor adhesion and cracking within 96 hours of application and can be easily removed from the roof by pulling it up by hand. A visual inspection will reveal the defective sealant lifting from the roof due to poor adhesion properties. Campaign closes May 30, 2021.
