The defect: Eldorado National-California, Inc. (ENC) is recalling certain 2012-2023 XHF and Arrivo vehicles equipped with a Ricon wheelchair lift. The red beacon lighting on the threshold warning system (TWS) may not be bright enough. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 403, "Platform Lift Systems."
The risk: Beacons that do not provide proper illumination may be less visible to wheelchair lift users, increasing the risk of injury.
The remedy: ENC will work with Ricon to replace the TWS kits, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 4, 2024. Owners may contact ENC customer service at 1-951-684-6868.

The defect: Eldorado National-California, Inc. (Eldorado National-California) is recalling certain 2017-2020 Axess, EXRM, and XHF vehicles. The sealing washer may not seat correctly in the pilot bore holes, allowing the high pressure fuel rail assembly to leak.
The risk: A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.
The remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the rail as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on June 18, 2021. Owners may contact Eldorado National-California customer service at 1-951-684-6868.

SEAT BELTS; SEAT BELTS:FRONT:BUCKLE ASSEMBLY

The defect: Eldorado National-California, Inc. (Eldorado National) is recalling certain 2017 Axess, E-Z Rider, XHF, and Arrivo buses, equipped with certain Recaro Commercial Bus Driver Seats, models Ergo R, Ergo D, AM71, AM72 and AM80. In the affected seats, the seat belt buckle may be stuck in the locked position, preventing the seat belt tongue from being able to be inserted and locked.
The risk: If the seat belt becomes stuck in the locked position, the bus may be operated without the seat belt being used, increasing the risk of injury in the event of a crash.
The remedy: Eldorado National will notify owners, and dealers will replace the buckle housings, free of charge. The recall began on December 1, 2017. Owners may contact Eldorado National customer service at 1-909-591-9557.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; VISIBILITY:DEFROSTER/DEFOGGER/HVAC SYSTEM

According to General Motors Recall 23V247: "These vehicles are equipped with an unused circuit that a final-stage manufacturer may elect to use to install an optional rear HVAC system. If the final-stage manufacturer leaves the circuit's connectors or cut wires unsealed, exposure to moisture or contamination may, over time, cause corrosion. This could result in high current draw through the circuit at the vehicles' lower left side B-pillar. Unintended release of excessive heat from the circuit may pose a risk of a vehicle fire and increase the risk of injury."
