The defect: Endera Motors (Endera) is recalling certain 2024-2026 Shuttle transit buses equipped with wheel chair restraint retractors. The retractors may not lock, preventing the wheelchair from being properly secured.
The risk: An unlocked wheelchair can move during transit or during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
The remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the retractors as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 21, 2025. Owners may contact Endera customer service at 419-523-3593.

SEAT BELTS

It has been determined that certain 2024-2026 Endera Motors Shuttle Buses may be equipped with faulty Q’Straint Wheelchair Securement Retractors. The affected retractors may intermittently fail to auto-lock when a wheelchair is installed at a seating position equipped with an affected retractor. If this should occur, a wheelchair may be inadequately restrained, and the occupants could be injured in the event of an emergency maneuver or crash.
