The defect: Endera Motors (Endera) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Shuttle transit buses. The retractors may not lock, preventing the wheelchair from being properly secured.
The risk: An unsecured wheelchair can move during transit, increasing the risk of injury.
The remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the retractors as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 22, 2026. Owners may contact Endera customer service at 419-523-3593.

The defect: Endera Motors (Endera) is recalling certain 2024-2026 Shuttle transit buses equipped with wheel chair restraint retractors. The retractors may not lock, preventing the wheelchair from being properly secured.
The risk: An unlocked wheelchair can move during transit or during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
The remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the retractors as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 21, 2025. Owners may contact Endera customer service at 419-523-3593.

Manufacturer communication
Manufacturers file copies of the bulletins they send to dealers with NHTSA. These often describe diagnostic or repair procedures for a known condition. They are not recalls: repairs described in a bulletin are usually only free if the vehicle is still under warranty or the manufacturer has extended coverage.
