2019 Entegra Vision Problems
Owner-reported complaints filed with NHTSA, grouped by component

What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 2019 Entegra Vision, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.
Reports by component
Ranked by how many owner reports name each component category
- Brakes133.3%
- Suspension133.3%
- Visibility133.3%
Percentages are of component mentions. A single complaint can name more than one component, so these do not sum to the total complaint count.
Each component in detail
What the reports in each category say, in the owners' own words
Brakes
Reports naming service brakes, the antilock braking system, brake hoses, master cylinders or the parking brake.
From owner reports, verbatim
My vehicle is a bit low in the back so I wanted to install Timbren FRF53A Suspension Enhancement System (SES). This issue applies to F53 chassis 16K and 18K. Higher GVWR are fully compatible. The problem occurs on the driver's side because the rubber flexes on the metal brake line. That will weaken it over time and it will break. I do not know if there has been an accident but it is waiting to happen. Please find a picture showing the issue where the rubber is stuck between the sway bar bracket and the break line. The picture is a grab from an Installer video.

MOTORHOME HAS A WINDSHIELD THAT WON'T STAY IN THE GASKET. DEALER HAD THIS UNIT IN THE SHOP AND HAD TO REINSTALL THE WINDSHIELD 4 DIFFERNT TIMES IN THE 1ST 8 MONTHS OF BEING PURCHASED BRAND NEW IN 2019. ON THE 4TH VISIT THE DEALER GO TIRED OF DEALING WITH US AND GLUED THE GASKET AND WINDSHIELD INTO THE FIBERGLASS HOLE. THESE WINDSHIELDS ARE NOT SUPPOSDED TO BE GLUED IN. WE DID DISCOVER THIS UNTIL APRIL OF 2024 WHEN THE WINDSHIELD HAD ROCK DAMAGE AND INSURANCE COMPANY HAD IT REPLACED. THE GLASS COMPANY SHOWED US HOW THE DEALER HAD INSTALLED THE GLASS WITH BLACK GLUE ALL AROUND THE GASKET. THEY DID THAT BECAUSE THERE IS A DEFINITE DEFAULT OF THE WINDOW OPENING VS THE SIZE OF THE GASKET THAT THE MANUFACTURER DESIGNED THIS UNIT WITH. SINCE THE ROCK DAMAGED REPLACED GLASS, THE GLASS COMPANY HAS HAD TO REINSTALL THE WINDSHIELD 2 MORE TIMES BECAUSE THE GASKET WON'T HOLD THE WINDSHIELDS WEIGHT AND THE WINDSHIELD KEEPS POPPING OUT IN THE TOP CORNER WHEN WE ARE DRIVING. THE GLASS COMPANY HAS NOW DEEMED IT UNSAFE TO DRIVE. WE CONTACTED THE MANUFACTURERS CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPT AND FILED A CASE WHICH THEY HAVE DENIED TO HELP US IN ANY WAY. WE AREN'T SAFE TO DRIVE IT AND SIMPLY CAN'T AFFORD TO FIX IT. THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE REP STATED THAT IT SHOULD NEVER HAD TO HAVE BEEN PUT IN AND OUT 4 TIMES BY THE SELLING DEALERSHIP, THEY SHOULD HAVE STOPPED WHEN IT CAME BACK IN FOR THE 2ND TIME AND SHOULD HAVE FILED A CASE WITH THE WARRANTY DEPT AT THE MANUFACTURER AND THEY SHOULD HAVE HANDLED IT BACK THEN. HOWEVER THE DEALERSHIP WAS ENJOYING GETTING PAID UNDER THE WARRANTY CLAIMS MONEY FROM THE MANUFACTURER AND THEN GLUED IT TO GET US OUT OF THEIR HAIR. THE GLUING OF THE WINDSHIELD AND GASKET ELIMINATES THE ABILITY FOR THE WINDSHIELD TO FLOAT AND WHEN GLUED CREATES STRESS ON THE FIBERGLASS AND IT FRACTURES, WHICH HAS HAPPENED. AND THE MANUFACTURE WON'T STAND BEHIND THEIR DEALERSHIP SCREWING UP THE INITIAL REPAIRS AND THE DAMAGE IT HAS CAUSED.

Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
