TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 1993 EZ-LOADER CHARGER BOAT TRAILER EQUIPPED WITH HI-RUN BCT TIRES, TIRE SIZE 205/75/14. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH, AN UNUSUAL NOISE SOUNDED OUTSIDE OF THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT MANEUVERED TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND NOTICED BOTH REAR TIRES EXPLODED DUE TO EXCESSIVE TREAD BELT SEPARATION. ALSO, BOTH DEFECTIVE TIRES WERE REPLACED WITH NEW TIRES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE DEFECT. THERE WAS NO MILEAGE ON THE TRAILER. THE DOT NUMBER AND VIN WERE UNAVAILABLE.
