2004 Ez Loader Skeeter Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

I REPLACED MY ORIGINAL TRAILER TIRES AFTER 10 YEARS OF USE. I BOUGHT TOW MASTER TIRES, ST 215-75R-14 LOAD RANGE C MANUFACTURED DATE 1312 DOT 53JD SPH. THEY WERE INTALLED ON A EZ LOAD SINGLE AXLE TRAILER. ON 7/23/16 TRAVELING ON I 81 SOUTH AT 65 MPH ONE OF MY TRAILER TIRES EXPLODED. THERE ISN'T MUCH LEFT, BREAD IS GONE AND SIDEWALL ARE CRACKED TO THE BEAD. TEMP WAS ABOUT 80* AND TIRES WERE INFLATED TO 48 PSI COLD TEMP. THESE TIRES HAVE VERY LOW MILAGE ON THEM, AROUND 3000 MILES AND ARE GARAGE KEPT ON TRAILER. I EVEN USE WHEEL COVERS WHEN IN THE SUN. THIS TIRE EXPLODED IN HEAVY TRAFFIC, THANK GOD NOBODY CRASHED AND I WAS ABLE TO GET TO THE SHOULDER SAFELY. TRAVELING STRAIGHT AT HIGHWAY SPEED 65 MPH.
