WHEN THE BRAKES WERE APPLIED THE PEDAL WENT PARTIALLY TO THE FLOOR, RESULTING IN EXTENDED STOPPING. THE DEALER IS ONLY ABLE TO GET 600 LBS OF PRESSURE TO CALIPERS. *YC
WHEN SHIFTING INTO PARK, VEHICLE WILL GO INTO AUTOMATIC BRAKE..THE AUTOMATIC BRAKE WILL NOT RELEASE. CAUSE UNKNOWN. *AK *YC

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 1995 FLEETWOOD BOUNDER RV. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE PASSENGER AND DRIVER SIDE WINDOWS WERE BECOMING FOGGED ABNORMALLY. THE CONTACT HAD TO DRIVE WITH THE WINDOWS OPENED IN ORDER TO USE THE SIDE MIRRORS. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER AND WAS TOLD THIS THAT ALTHOUGH THERE WERE NO RECALLS FOR THE FAILURE, THE FAILURE WAS COMMON FOR THE MODEL VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN, BUT THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 60,000.
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 1995 FLEETWOOD BOUNDER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE RUBBER MOLDING DETACHED FROM THE WINDSHIELD AND STRUCTURE OF THE VEHICLE. AS A RESULT, THERE WERE MULTIPLE LARGE GAPS BETWEEN THE RUBBER MOLDING AND THE FRAMEWORK. AS OF JANUARY 28, 2008, THE DEALER HAD NOT INSPECTED THE VEHICLE. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 76,000. THE ENGINE SIZE WAS UNAVAILABLE. UPDATED 02-14-08 *BF THE CONSUMER WAS INFORMED THAT WHEN THE WINDSHIELD WAS MADE THERE WAS NO CEMENT USED TO HOLD THE GLASS OR SEAL TO THE COACH. UPDATED

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 1995 FLEETWOOD BOUNDER. THE CONTACT RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FOR THE VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL IN OCTOBER OF 2007. FORD DOES NOT KNOW WHEN THE PARTS WILL ARRIVE. THE DEACTIVATION SWITCH WAS DISCONNECTED IN THE INTERIM. THERE HAD BEEN NO FAILURE TO DATE. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 53,100. UPDATED 03-04-08 *BF UPDATED *JB
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 1995 FLEETWOOD BOUNDER. THE CONTACT RECEIVED RECALL NOTICE NUMBER 05S28 (WIRING HARNESS) IN AUGUST OF 2007. HE IMMEDIATELY CALLED THE NUMBER ON THE RECALL LETTER AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE PARTS WOULD BE UNAVAILABLE UNTIL DECEMBER. WHEN HE CALLED AGAIN, HE WAS INFORMED THAT THE PARTS WOULD BE UNAVAILABLE UNTIL JANUARY OR FEBRUARY OF 2008. THE CONTACT STATED THAT HE WILL NOT GET THE VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL DISCONNECTED BECAUSE HE WILL NOT DRIVE THE VEHICLE. THERE HAD BEEN NO FAILURE TO DATE. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 70,000.

BOTH REAR BRACKETS BEHIND THE REAR AXLE WERE CRACKED.*MR FAILURE WAS DISCOVERED DURING A TIRE REPLACEMENT. CONSUMER CONTACTED THE DEALERSHIP WHO TOLD HIM TO TAKE THE MOTORHOME TO A AUTHORIZED DEALER. THE REPAIRED CALLED FOR WELDING THE CRACKS AND ADDING TWO SIDE BRACES. *PH

Tires & wheels

WHILE DRIVING AT 65 MPH, THE CONSUMER HEARD A LOUD EXPLOSION. AFTER STOPPING THE VEHICLE THE CONSUMER FOUND THAT THE REAR RIGHT INSIDE TIRE BLEW OUT AT THE SIDE WALL. *JB THE MECHANIC TOLD THE CONSUMER THAT EITHER THE VEHICLE OVER LOADED OR THE TIRE WAS UNDER INFLATED. THE 2004 MOTOR MAGAZINE STATING THAT THE TIRES WERE NOT RECOMMENDED FOR MOTOR HOMES BECAUSE THEY DO NOT HOLD UP WELL. THEY RECOMMEND AN ALL STEEL TIRE NOT A TIRE THAT HAS STEEL BELTED TREAD AND A POLYESTER SIDEWALLS LIKE THE ONE THAT THE SIDEWALL BLEW OUT. *SC *JB
