What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 2016 Fleetwood Flair, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

2016 FLEETWOOD FLAIR, PURCHASED FEB 2016 - AFTER TAKING THE RV ON OUR FIRST LONG TRIP IN JUNE OF 2016 - THERE WAS EXCESSIVE VIBRATION IN THE DASHBOARD AND THE COACH FRAMING SEPARATED FROM THE BODY - IN THE PASSENGER SEAT, I COULD SEE THE ROAD THROUGH A 2 INCH GAP BETWEEN THE COACH WALL AND FLOOR. WE TOOK THE COACH IN JULY 2016 TO LEMESA RV, PHOENIX, AZ. THEY CALLED FLEETWOOD, AND WERE AUTHORIZED TO DO REPAIRS. PICKED UP THE COACH 3 WEEKS LATER, DROVE FINE, NO VIBRATION DURING THE 50 MILE TRIP HOME. WE WERE NOT ABLE TO GO ON ANOTHER TRIP UNTIL MAY OF 2017. AFTER ABOUT 200 MILES, THE COACH DID THE SAME THING; STARTED WITH REAL BAD VIBRATION IN THE DASHBOARD THAT GOT PROGRESSIVELY WORSE, (DASHBOARD WOULD BOUNCE 1-2 INCHES AS IT BROKE AWAY ON THE PASSENGER SIDE); AND THEN THE BODY SEPARATED FROM THE FRAME AGAIN SHOWING ABOUT A 2 INCH GAP BETWEEN THE FLOOR AND COACH BODY. THESE TRIPS WERE 95% HIGHWAY/FREEWAY DRIVING, AND 5% CITY STREETS, AND IS FOCUSED ON THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE COACH. WHEN LOOKING UNDER THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE COACH, YOU CAN SEE THE BOLTS WORKING OUT OF THE FRAMING THAT ATTACHES TO THE BODY, AND YOU CAN SEE THE GAP BETWEEN THE FRAMING AND THE BODY WHERE THE BOLTS HAVE COMPLETELY FALLEN OUT, AND THE WELD REPAIR DID NOT HOLD AS IT ALSO SEPARATED, AGAIN. THE FIRST INSTANCE HAPPENED IN JUNE 2016 - OUR NEXT TRIP WAS NOT UNTIL MAY OF 2017 WHEN IT HAPPENED AGAIN. FLEETWOOD IS REFUSING TO FIX STATING THAT ITS ONLY A DASHBOARD ISSUE!
Too few reports in this category for a page of its own — they appear in the full complaint list.
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
