What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 2004 Fleetwood Revolution, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

Visibility
Reports naming windshields, glass, wipers, defrosters and mirrors.
From owner reports, verbatim
All the double panes windows in the motorhome have fogged in between the glass and blocked vision. Most importantly we cannot see out of the drivers window to view the mirrors.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 FLEETWOOD REVOLUTION. WHILE DRIVING 20 MPH, THE DRIVER SIDE WINDSHIELD FRACTURED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE THE WINDSHIELD WAS REPLACED; HOWEVER, WHILE BEING REPAIRED, THE PASSENGER SIDE WINDSHIELD DETACHED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE INSIDE OF THE WINDSHIELD WAS NOT SEALED PROPERLY, WHICH CAUSED IT TO RUST AND THE ENTIRE CRADLE WAS RUSTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 13,000.

From owner reports, verbatim
DT*: THE CONTACT STATED WHILE FILLING THE MOTOR HOME WITH DIESEL THE FUEL SPRAYED FROM THE FILLER NECK ONTO THE VEHICLE AND ONTO HIM. THE MANUFACTURER HAS BEEN ALERTED. UPDATED 2/28/2006 - *NM
THIS A FLEETWOOD RV,THE PROBLEM IS IT WILL NOT TAKE FUEL FROM A NORMALLY USED FUEL NOZZLE FOUND AT TRUCK STOPS. THE ONLY WAY I CAN FILL THE MOTOR HOME WITH FUEL, IS TO REMOVE BOTH FILLER CAPS (ONE ON EACH SIDE) WHICH WILL ALLOW FUEL TO GO IN WITH OUT OVER FLOWING ONTO THE PAVEMENT. BUT BE CAUSE BOTH FILLERS ARE OPEN FUEL ALWAYS RUNS OUT BEFORE THE NOZZLE SHUTS OFF. FLEETWOOD ADVISED ME THAT MY RV WAS DESIGNED TO BE FILLED AT NORMAL GAS STATIONS AND THERE WAS NOTHING THAT COULD BE DONE. THAT OF COURSE MAKES LITTLE SENSE. THIS IS A 110 GALLON TANK. THIS MAY NOT SOUND LIKE A BIG DEAL BUT BELIEVE ME IT IS. *JB

Brakes
Reports naming service brakes, the antilock braking system, brake hoses, master cylinders or the parking brake.
From owner reports, verbatim
WE HAVE A 04 REVOLUTION MOTORHOME ON A FREIGHTLINER CHASSIS WITH AIR BRAKES. WITH ABOUT 10,000 MILES ON IT. I HAD TO MAKE A PANIC STOP AT ABOUT 45 MILES AN HOUR AND AFTER THAT THE MOTORHOME DIDN'T SEEM TO WANT TO STOP. FREIGHTLINER INFORMED ME THAT THE BRAKES WERE GLAZED. I TRIED TO TELL THEM I WAS AN OVERT THE ROAD TRUCK DRIVER AND HAVE TRAVELED OVER MOST MOUNTAIN PASSES. I HAVE NEVER GLAZED BRAKES BEFORE. I JUST FELT YOU SHOULD HAVE THIS INFORMATION IN CASE OTHER HAVE THIS SAME PROBLEM. I DON'T FEEL IT IS POSSIBLE TO GLAZE BRAKES FROM ONE PANIC STOP. UNLESS THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG. *NM
