1985 Fleetwood Southwind Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

I HAVE A 26 FT. MOTORHOME WITH 4 OF DAYTONA RADIAL STAG 7.50R16LT RIB TIRES ON THE REAR DUALS. THREE OF THE TIRES HAVE BLOWN OUT CAUSING DAMAGE TO THE WHEEL WELLS AND RUPTURING A PROPANE LINE. ALL THIS HAS OCCURRED WITHIN 2500 MILES. I HAVE NOT HAD A PROBLEM WITH TIRE PRESSURE AND CHECKED THE TIRE PRESSURE ON THE LAST TIRE TO BLOW OUT WITHIN 100 MILES OF THE BLOWOUT. *NM
