2001 Ford F-350 Sd Seat belts Problems

Owner-reported complaints naming the seat belt system, filed with NHTSA

Data refreshed

Seat belts reportsComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

DRIVER SEAT BELT. SEAT BELT INADVERTENTLY COMES LOOSE. MAY STAY FASTEN FOR FIVE MINUTES OR SOMETIMES AND HOUR THEN WITH NO PRESSURE APPLIED TO BELT IT JUST SNAPS LOOSE. FORD HAD A RECALL BUT THEY CLAIM MY DATE OF MANUFACTURE IS NOT COVERED. I HAVE FILED A COMPLAINT WITH FORD AND CARRIED MY VEHICLE TO THE DEALER BUT THEY OFFERED NO RESOLUTION EXCEPT SEAT BELTS WEAR OUT. I DON'T THINK THEY SHOULD WEAR OUT AFTER 38,000 MILES. *TR
