Our database holds 2 NHTSA owner-reported complaints for the 2013 Ford F-450 Sd. Each one is a report filed by an owner or driver and published by NHTSA without most of them being verified. A complaint is not a confirmed defect, not a recall and not a manufacturer bulletin. Narratives are shown exactly as filed.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

RADIATOR LEAK AT 43,000 FROM THE JOINT BETWEEN THE PLASTIC END CAP AND ALUMINUM CORE, DRIVER'S SIDE NEAR BUMPER. COST TO REPAIR ESTIMATED AT 1400-1800$ AT ONLY 7K MILES OUTSIDE OF FACTORY WARRANTY. VEHICLE IS USED DAILY WITHIN RECOMMENDED WEIGHT CAPACITIES TO MOVE MATERIALS AND TRAILERS, BUT FOLLOWS A VERY STRICT MAINTENANCE PROGRAM TO ENSURE LONG LIFE.
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
