What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 2007 Ford F-750 Sd, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

Each component in detail
What the reports in each category say, in the owners' own words
Brakes
Reports naming service brakes, the antilock braking system, brake hoses, master cylinders or the parking brake.
From owner reports, verbatim
AFTER A REPAIR TO THE TRANSMISSION BY A LICENSED FACILITY, THE PROP SHAFT DEPARTED THE REAR AXLE DUE TO A FLANGE BREAKING. THE PROP SHAFT FAILED AROUND AND TORE OFF THE WIRING HARNESS TO THE TRANSMISSION AND THE REAR BRAKE LINES; THE CABLE TO THE EMERGENCY BRAKE WAS ALSO COMPROMISED. AS A RESULT, THE ENGINE STOPPED. ALL POWER STEERING AND ALL BRAKING WAS LOST; THE TRUCK ROLLED TO A STOP, AND THEN ROLLED BACKWARDS ON A BUSY HIGHWAY. THE DRIVER WAS ABLE TO STEER THE VEHICLE INTO A SNOW BANK. I FEEL THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE AS A FAILURE LIKE THIS SHOULD NOT HAVE CAUSED SUCH A CATASTROPHIC LOSS OF CONTROL- THE FRONT BRAKES AT LEAST SHOULD HAVE WORKED. *TR
