The contact owns a 1977 Ford F-250 equipped with Bridgestone Tires, Tire Line: Turanza, Tire Size: LT235/85/R16, DOT Number: 70 MR 2I. The contact stated the tires were not installed on the vehicle; however, while inflating the tires, the tire exploded. The contact sustained injuries to his face, right arm, and right hand, and received medical attention. The contact was unaware if a police report was filed. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
