Owner-reported complaints filed with NHTSA, grouped by component

What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 2006 Ford Ford GT, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

I WAS DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY IN THE MIDDLE LANE GOING APPROXIMATELY 65-70 MPH WHEN MY CAR JUST DIED. THE DASHBOARD LIGHTS CAME ON AND I WAS ABLE TO COAST OVER TO THE RIGHT SHOULDER WERE I PLACED IT IN PARK AND THEN IT STARTED RIGHT UP. IT HAS RUN FINE BEFORE THAT INCIDENT AND HAS RUN FINE EVER SINCE. I PROCEEDED TO DRIVE DIRECTLY TO THE DEALERSHIP WHERE I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE AND THEY HAD THE VEHICLE ALL DAY TEST DRIVING AND PLACED IT ON THERE COMPUTER AND THEY COULD NOT FIND ANYTHING WRONG. AT THIS TIME, I ONLY HAD 479 MILES ON THE CAR. *JB
