LOSS OF POWER ON HIGHWAY. FUEL TANK HAS A COATING ON THE INSIDE THAT HAS DELAMINATED ( SILVER FLAKES) CAUSING THE FUEL SYSTEM TO BE CLOGGED WHICH RESULTED IN LOST OF POWER WHILE DRIVING. *TR

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 FORD LCF 550. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED, THE VEHICLE WOULD STALL WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO LOCATE A RECALL RELEVANT TO THE FAILURE (NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 06V471000: ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING, DIESEL) YET THE DEALER ADVISED HIS VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE APPROXIMATELY 20,000.

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 FORD LCF 550 BLUE DIAMOND. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE STALLS EACH TIME IT IS DRIVEN. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO FIVE DIFFERENT DEALERS AND NONE OF THEM COULD DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF FAILURE. THE VEHICLE IS CURRENTLY PARKED AT A PLACE OF BUSINESS. THE POWERTRAIN AND FAILURE MILEAGE WERE UNKNOWN. THE CURRENT MILEAGE IS 40,000.
