1992 Ford Mustang Engine Problems

Owner-reported complaints naming the engine system, filed with NHTSA

Data refreshed

Engine reportsComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

THE ENGINE HAS A GAS PROBLEM!(VERY BIG ONE) I GET 150 MILES TO 15 GALLONS, THE MUSTANG SHOULD BE RECIVING AT LEAST 270. I HAVE MODIFACATIONS, BUT THEY ONLY WOULD TAKE OFF ABOT 10 MILES. FORD HAS HAD THE CAR RAN EVERY TEST POSIBLE AND EVERYTHING COMES OUT OK, THEY DONT HAVE A CLUE WHAT IS WRONG. IVE SEEN OTHER RECALLS ON MUSTANGS THAT ARE FUEL REALATED AND IM STARING TO THINK MINE IS ALSO. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT THE CAR PLEASE CONTACT ME, IM IN A POSITION NOW WHERE I NEED ANSEWERS WHERE THE MANUFACTURE CANT GIVE ME. THANX.
