2000 Forest River 34CK-Ts Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

DT: THIS TRAILER IS MANUFACTURED BY FOREST RIVER CORPORATION. THIS IS FROM THE CALIFORNIA DIVISION. IT IS A 5TH WHEEL TRAILER. THE DOT STICKER DOES NOT MATCH THE EQUIPMENT, SUCH AS THE TIRES AND AXLES ON TRAILER. THE EQUIPMENT THAT IS ON TRAILER DOES NOT MEET THE DOT STICKER REQUIREMENTS FOR WEIGHT AND SIZE AS LABELED ON THE TRAILER. CONTACTED MANUFACTURER, AND THEY OFFERED NO REMEDY OR REASONS AS TO WHY THIS . THEY ADMITTED THIS MUST BE MISLABELED. DUE TO THIS PROBLEM CONSUMER ENCOUNTERED TIRE AND SUSPENSION FAILURES, AND FELT THIS WAS A SAFETY PROBLEM. WENT THROUGH 3 OUT OF 6 TIRES IN LESS THAN 10,000 MILES. *AK
