What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 2016 Forest River Cherokee, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

FRAME SUPPORTS HAVE FAILED AT WELD POINTS DUE TO POOR WELDING. THE SUPPORTS SEPARATING HAS CAUSE MAJOR CRACKING IN THE MAIN FRAME RAILS ON BOTH SIDES OF THE TRAILER. THE FAILURE ALLOWED SO MUCH MOVEMENT IN THE FRAME THAT TIRE BEGAN HITTING THE BODY CAUSING TIRE DAMAGE. THE FRAME NOW NEEDS A COMPLETE REPAIR AND IS UNSAFE TO USE. I HAVE MORE IMAGES BUT IT WILL ONLY LET ME UPLOAD ONE.
