2002 Forest River Flagstaff Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 FOREST RIVER FLAGSTAFF SUPERLITE. THE CONTACT RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE ON HER DOMETIC REFRIGERATOR IN FEBRUARY OF 2008. AT THAT TIME, SHE LIVED AT LEAST TWO HOURS AWAY FROM A CERTIFIED REPAIR SHOP AND WAS UNABLE TO GET THE VEHICLE REPAIRED; THEREFORE, SHE JUST UNPLUGGED THE REFRIGERATOR. IN MAY OF 2008, SHE HAD THE VEHICLE INSPECTED BY A MECHANIC WHO INFORMED HER THAT THE REFRIGERATOR WAS INCLUDED IN THE RECALL AND WAS CRACKED. UPDATED 07/07/08. *LJ THE BOILER TUBE DID CRACK AND COOLANT LEAKED OUT. DOMETIC WOULD NOT HONOR THE RECALL. UPDATED
