The defect: CERTAIN RECREATIONAL VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH A TWO-DOOR REFRIGERATOR, MANUFACTURED BY THE DOMETIC CORPORATION, MAY HAVE A DEFECT IN THE BOILER TUBE. PRESSURIZED COOLANT SOLUTION COULD BE RELEASED INTO AN AREA WHERE AN IGNITION SOURCE (GAS FLAME) IS PRESENT.
The risk: RELEASE OF COOLANT UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS COULD IGNITE AND RESULT IN A FIRE.
The remedy: FOREST RIVER WILL BE WORKING WITH DOMETIC IN ORDER TO REPAIR THESE REFRIGERATORS (PLEASE SEE 06E076). DOMETIC WILL REPAIR THESE REFRIGERATORS BY INSTALLING A SECONDARY BURN HOUSING, A THERMAL FUSE, AND A MELT FUSE FREE OF CHARGE. DOMETIC HAS RETAINED STERICYCLE INC. TO MANAGE THIS CAMPAIGN. STERICYCLE WILL ASSIST YOU IN LOCATING DEALERSHIPS OR SERVICE CENTERS AND WILL PROVIDE ASSISTANCE WITH SCHEDULING OF APPOINTMENTS. DT*: THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING 60 MPH THE FRONT DRIVER TIRE BLEW OUT. THE VEHICLE WAS MOVED OFF THE HIGHWAY WHERE A 14 INCH TEAR WAS FOUND IN THE SIDEWALL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DETERMINED THE WRONG AIR PRESSURE RECOMMENDED BY THE MANUFACTURER WAS WEAKENING THE SIDEWALL. THE DEALER REPLACED ALL FOUR TIRES.

VEHICLE IS DIFFICULT TO CONTROL AT SPEEDS ABOVE 50 MPH, IT WANDERS ALL OVER THE ROAD. 4 ALIGNMENTS HAVE BEEN DONE, HOWEVER DID NOT REMEDY THE PROBLEM. DEALER DETERMINED THERE WAS NO SWAY BAR ON THE REAR OF VEHICLE, MANUFACTURER REFUSED TO HELP.*AK *YD
