What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 2018 Forest River Sandpiper, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

WHILE DRIVING THROUGH KS. FROM CO WITH OUR NEW TRAILER, WE HAD A TIRE BLOW OUT. MY HUSBAND ALWAYS CHECKS THE TIRES ANYTIME WE STOP TO FUEL, OR AT REST STOPS. HE NEVER TAKES ANY CHANCES. SINCE THIS HAPPENED, WE HAVE FOUND OUT THAT ALL THE TIRES ON THE CAMPER ARE FROM CHINA. WE ARE NOW AFRAID TO GO ON A TRIP B/C WE WONDER IF THE OTHER TIRES WILL DO THE SAME THING. THIS IS A NEW TRAILER AND SHOULDN'T HAVE TO REPLACE ALL THE TIRES. HAVE YOU HAD COMPLAINTS ON THIS BEFORE AND WHAT DO YOU SUGGEST WE CAN DO. THIS TIME LUCKILY WE GOT STOPPED AND HAD A SPARE. THE TREAD HAD WRAPPED AROUND THE FRAME OF THE TRAILER AND WAS VERY DIFFICULT TO FIX.
Too few reports in this category for a page of its own — they appear in the full complaint list.
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
