TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 FOREST RIVER VLITE RECREATIONAL VEHICLE. SHORTLY AFTER THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED ACCORDING TO NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 13V554000 (SUSPENSION, TIRES), THE VEHICLE WOULD ONLY ACCELERATE TO 55 MPH. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE SWAYED TO THE LEFT AND RIGHT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER WHO SUGGESTED THAT THE HITCH BE LOWERED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE HITCH WAS ALREADY AT ITS LOWEST POSITION. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 400. UPDATED 10/14/14*LJ UPDATED 05/19/2015 *JS

THE FAILURE OCCURRED WHENEVER ENCOUNTERING A POT HOLE OR DRIVING OVER A BUMP AT LOW SPEEDS. THERE WAS A RECALL ASSOCIATED WITH NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 13V554000 (SUSPENSION, TIRE); HOWEVER, THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE.
