2001 Four Winds Windsport Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

WINDSHIELD LEAKED WATER INSIDE OF THE MOTORHOME ON THE DRIVERS SIDE. THE MOTORHOME WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER TWICE, WHERE THEY APPLIED A CLEAR SILICONE IN THE LEAKY AREA. HOWEVER, THE DEALER INDICATED TO THE CONSUMER TO TAKE THE MOTORHOME TO INDIANA WHERE THEY COULD SEE WHAT WAS WRONG WITH THE WINDSHIELD. THIS WAS NOT WHAT THE CONSUMER EXPECTED FROM A $79.800 VEHICLE. *AK *JB *NM THE WINDSHIELD WAS COMING OUT ON THE PASSENGER'S SIDE OF THE UNIT AND WOULD ALSO CONTINUE TO LEAK WHEN IT RAINED. *SC
